Extension integration for eve. Search the web, extract page content, and run multi-source research with Nimble.

## Install

Install the Nimble extension for eve:

```bash
eve add extension/nimble
```

The extension requires Node.js 24 or later and a Nimble API key. It adds web search, page extraction, and long-running research tools.

## Quick start

Add your Nimble API key to the agent's environment:

```bash title=".env.local"
NIMBLE_API_KEY=your_api_key
```

The registry mounts Nimble as a directory under `agent/extensions/`:

```ts title="agent/extensions/nimble/extension.ts"
import nimble from "@nimble-way/eve";

export default nimble({});
```

The directory name supplies the `nimble` namespace. The extension adds `nimble__search`, `nimble__extract`, `nimble__agent_start`, and `nimble__agent_result`, plus the `nimble__web-research` skill. The registry overrides `nimble__agent_start` to require approval for every Agent API run.

## Configure

Keep `NIMBLE_API_KEY` in the environment rather than prompts or source control. Search queries, URLs, and Agent API inputs are sent to Nimble. Search results and extracted pages are untrusted third-party content, not instructions for the agent.

`nimble__agent_start` creates a billable, non-idempotent Agent API run. The registry requires approval for every call. Retain the returned identifiers for `nimble__agent_result` instead of starting a replacement run.
